Sauk County's beauty and diversified natural areas attract nature lovers and naturalists from throughout the world to visit the area's five state parks, ten county parks, and 18 state nature centers, many of which are accessible to cyclists, hikers, and climbers. State, county and private campgrounds located in and near Sauk County's many natural wonders provide facilities to meet every campers' needs, from full-service sites with indoor shower and restroom facilities, food and supplies stores, to primitive back-packing sites.

Dutch Hollow contains nearly 1,200 lots zoned for single-family residences and a "greenway" system of about 700 acres. It's just a quick walk through the greenway to the lake shoreline and a cluster dock for boats.
